Sinamatella Productions was born on the 1st May 2010 in Cape Town, South Africa. Its founding purpose is to capture dynamic, redemptive, beautiful stories about the people and places of Africa. 

From humble beginnings, Sinamatella's films have won awards on four continents and played in film festivals from Vancouver to Istanbul and on the beaches at Ipanema. They have been broadcast by CBC in Canada; SBS in Australia; VRT, Setanta, BBC and Sky in Europe, MultiChoice in Africa and NBC Universal in the US. 

Sinamatella has been trusted by partners such as Barclays, Singita, Nederburg, The Body Shop, Wildlife ACT Fund, Dimension Data, Woolworths, Anderson Expeditions, SuperSport, Cricket South Africa, Return Africa, Volvo, Stellenbosch University and Angama Mara to bring interesting stories to life on big and small screens.
